Hello,

I just lost my Mavi Air drone...lost contact while flying home. I still have remote, extra batteries & accessories. I have DJI Care. Can I buy drone replacement only (no remote or batteries)?

I was in the similar situation, drone was not lost, just had some traces of sand/water in it.  Only option was 713 euro repair cost!!!!!  or to be sent back to me unrepaired.
10 months old, everything working fine except gimbal motors........

Dji Europe wil not repair because they found traces of sand/water in the drone.
I have no CASE number, because i went through a Dji Dealer.
Serial is : S/N : 0K1DF1S2BD0CVS

My Mavic is still at Dji Europe in the Netherlands

I managed to get the case number via your serial number, per the damage assessment, the aircraft is water damaged, there is sand inside the gimbal, which prevents the gimbal from working correctly and there is corrosion on the motors and motor arms.

So my only option in replacement service is buying a new one for 713 euro? Which is just the normal price in Belgium.

I guess my best option to save my drone is to have it returned back unrepaired and bring it to an independent repair shop and see what they can do.

I'm not paying 700+ euro again

But if by analyisis of the data they can’t find any fault in the aircraft
Why can’t they offer a strongly reduced price on a for example refurbished mavic air body, no remote, no battery, no charger, no props, no bag etc. Just the part that is actually broken.

I’ll hope for the best.

I´ve lost my drone to the water unfortunately. I couldnt get it back from the water. What are my options to make it as cheap as possible. Kind of new drone too. Not very fun to loose 900dollars just like that :/

you should contact dji support
That will check the flight records to see is it was user error or device malfunction.
If it was device malfunction you will get a new one. Mavic Air (just the drone) is not sold seperately
