Awesome stuff.

I was lucky enough to go up in the Rockies somewhere in Alberta many years ago.

Clearly you have some talent in putting this together and would like to know :

A. How does the flying look like a reasonable pace but the cars on the ground look like they  are at the grand prix ?

B. What is Plan B if you go down amongst the trees ? Talk about needle in a hay stack !


I am not one not to 'have a go' at things (usually) but I must say this drone stuff has me taking baby steps ! I have been doing photography for years and this is another feather in the bow so to speak but I believe the learning curve in both flying and post production is one hell of a learning curve

A. I fly slow and safe.  But I can speed things up through video editing.
B. I've been in that situation and tried to find it on my own.  But during the process I discovered that the app shows you exactly where it is....you just need to get to it.


For photos your editing and learning curve is low.  Best thing to do is practice in a soccer field somewhere and learn all the features and safety features.  

You follow that dream, I want to see you posting videos in here sooner than later.

Photos I can edit, have been doing it for years, but video is a whole different matter.. But I will get into it... What software are you using ?

I looked at Adobe Premiere, the subscription has put me off, I am already paying for Lightroom & Photoshop... But I will persist

So sorry for the late reply, missed this one.  Yeah I hear ya about the price.  You could lighten the budget a bit by ditching the Lightroom subscription.  Lightroom is a convenient much lighter version of Photoshop.  It would take a couple hours of research on how to get what you're used to doing in Lightroom but in Photoshop.   I remember back in the day Vegas Video was free and very good video editor.  Hope it all works out for you.  Happy Holidays.
