I will receive a brand new Mavic Air (after bought it again) after I lost mine two weeks ago in the ocean, after reading about the issues with the latest firmware, what's the veredict?

personally, i am keeping .0300 and DJI Go4 4.2.14

.400 has given me zero issues.  Take that for what its worth.

I've had transmission issues and disconnections. They never happened before 0.400.

Keep it! I got my MA when using 300 was so happy about the range. I could fly about 8000ft in Urban area...And 400 was released 2 day later. No problem with 400 but I couldn't flew more than 5000 ft same area. Sad face.

Personally, I'd say keep 0300 if you still have it!

I use .400 on my Mavic Air since day 1 the update was available. Never encountered any problems with it.

I did upgrade my first Mavic Air to .0400 and had all kinds of issues as described on the forum, mainly jerky and very weak video transmission as well as unstable hovering with drifting sideways or slowly rotating (or both), among others.

Like you, I bought a second Mavic Air after killing the first and upgraded only till .0300. I now get smooth flying, high quality and stable video transmission, increased flying distance and no unpredictable behavior. Keep .0300.

I'm using firmware v01.00.0300 with DJI GO 4 App v4.2.16 on an iPhone X. Have been ignoring the latest DJI Go 4 App updates.  

Just jumping in here with a similar question. New to the forum as I recently bought a MA ( my first Drone ever) and have been flying in beginner mode primarily. Aircraft has version 00.02.0044. and has been promoting me to upgrade to .400. I have recently come off beginner mode and want to fly further. Can I upgrade the firmware to .300 without going to the dreaded .400 that I have been reading about? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have had no issues at all with 400, great range, no disconnects... nada...nothing!

Been using .400 since it was launched, and use the latest iOS DJI Go4 on an iPad 2018 - no problems to report
