Summer heat wave in the UK has killed all the green! Shots taken with the MA.

In Denmark it is also crazy. There is simply no more water in the soil.

Red = 0 liters of water per. m2. This year is a disaster for Danish agriculture

It's been a constant 25-32c here for weeks - it rained for 5 minutes last night and that's it. I'm not complaining though - the green will return

I certainly do not complain either even though I could cope with lower temperatures.
But the farmers are facing huge losses and I think that's terrible. Some will probably be forced to slaughter some of their animals because they simply do not have enough food to give them.

That did cross my mind flying over these somewhat barren lands.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.  Although the lack of rain and heat aren't good for everybody, the shots are still great!

But you didn't create the conditions.  You're just documenting them!  Keep taking those pics!!

I was enjoying the UK dry conditions (although heat wave is a joke, it got up to what most other countries class normal) but then true to form it rained yesterday just in time to cancel the entire RAF 100 Flypast.  Then stopped.

It's hot down here in London - similar temperatures to when I was in Cyprus in May.
