I'm still new to this, flying a P3 Standard, but having fun. We have small substation within 100 yds. Is that close enough to cause interference? Also how about flying above power lines. There are some in my area that are easier to fly under. I just need some guidance on how close is too close to power supplies. Thanks for the replies in advance

Hi. Welcome to DJI Forum and thank you for the inquiry. As much as possible you need to avoid those powerlines. Those powerlines can affect the performance of the Drone while on a flight and this can cause severe damage to your Drone.

Power lines do emit EMF, but I've flown over them very close and have never had a problem.  Good luck

No problems here with the MP and power lines.

The effects related to powerlines depend on the current they carry but with even the highest current lines your Phantom will not be affected at 50 metres.

There is more danger from flying into them than there is from emf interference
