Hello,
I'm a brand new DJI Mavic Pro owner. Love it! However last night I was flying and dropped the transmitter. One of the antennas snapped right off. Is there any way I can attach some sort of lanyard to the transmitter? Found one on Amazon however it doesn't get good reviews.

Hi, unfortunately, those are the only lanyards we have for our DJI Drones as of this moment. Just in case in the future, you want to avail of any accessories for your DJI Mavic Pro. I will be posting another link where you can see all the original accessories for the DJI Mavic Pro.

I should try to help. Sorry to hear about the antenna!  I also bought a lanyard on Amazon and it didn't work. Before I could find a better version, I  switched over from waving my iPhone 6 and controller about to using my iPad on a lightweight camera tripod.

I find it all fits in nicely into my DronePro Backpack. The iPad is connected to the controller using an original Apple cable attached to the USB port.  I have never had any disconnection problems (remembering of course to unplug the DJI cable from the side of the controller, as the USB port is disabled when this connection is used).

This works really well (I have a sun hood from DJI) and I really like using the bigger screen. You do need one of the later model iPads.

Now, I simply hang the controller over the tripod handle when I am not actually flying. All in all,  this might be a better solution for you too...

Thanks for your help! I'm in a wheelchair and I'm sure this won't be the last time I drop the remote. How are you attaching it to the tripod? Is it only for when your not flying?

Here's something to consider:  I use a 10.1" Tab A, which is a pretty big tablet.  After testing the cheaper holders on Amazon and finding they were all junk, I finally bit the bullet and got the Lifthor Sif Std Mount.  I caught a nice sale, and got it in 3 days from Norway.  Upon delivery, the mount is excellently crafted, disassembles and stores very small for travel, and is extremely well balanced with a handy Lanyard attachment point.  Money very well spent!

I see how that would work but I find my iPhone works fine plus I don't really want to carry my iPad around with me.

A bunch of guys in our local drone club with MP, Spark and Air use this. It comes with a lanyard and is very secure. Different versions of these from suppliers, but most are the same thing.
