The following article published in the Telegraph (UK) has been copied by news agencies around the globe: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ ... fy-targe-homes.html

It has already sparked debate here on DJI's forum: http://forum.dji.com/thread-15563-1-1.html

But I'm not particularly interested in the scare-mongering or anti-drone hysteria being whipped up by the media and those who have their own agendas in controlling the potential boom in drone sales. No! What concerns me more is the fact that, while some crimals may have used a drone to survey future targets - the vast majority hitherto possibly hadn't even thought of using a flying camera in their greedy acquisitions.

Now, we as UAS pilots could face the prospect of drone-jacking! So my point is quite simply fly safe!

It would be an easy thing, come to think of it... to snatch the remote out of the hands of an unsuspecting pilot while he/she's looking up. Looks like another accessory opportunity. A belt-to-remote security chain.

So far, I've not noticed any news to suggest an increase in drone-jacking!

Omg what a beat up Paul Ford, secretary of the Police Federation National Detectives has not given one example when a drone was used a robbery crime ect. Then makes this remark "“They are the ideal lookouts for burglars, train robbers, and poachers. "...Train Robbers wtf muahahaha obvious technophobe, he must be approaching 80 and due for retirement surely.

Thanks rayrokni - I believe you need friends to PM... that's not an option for me as I don't have any.
