You can use the rolling button on the back of the controller, roll it to the angle you want the camera to be.
Or you can set the customizable button to look down/forward. It will look straight down/forward when you click it, there is no rolling!
I attached the screenshot so its easier to you.
To take the pano is easy. All you gotta do is select the pano mode then horizontal or vertical pano. Make sure the camera is looking down. Align the photo then press the shutter button. The drone does the rest to you. Horizn pano it will take 9 photos. Vertical pano 3 photos.
I stitch panos using Microsoft ICE. Its for free and really good.

PS: It will only work on Horizontal or vertical pano. It wont work with the 180 pano.

Nice shot. In the old days of film, we would call that "dense", meaning deep, rich colours and tones. Looks great.

By coincidence, it also answered a question that occurred to me not ten minutes before opening this thread: Can Spark take panoramas looking straight down? Thanks for the education.
