As far as the voting is going, I think both the fw 0400 for Pro and Air will have the same qualification.

I voted it as being an overall improvement.

Never once had an Aircraft Disconnect issue until .0400. Rolling back to .0300 this weekend to see what happens.

Voted worse, as 0400 has definitely introduced several issues for a significant number of MA owners, myself included!

Well, it's an improvement from the last update. l agree that DJI should acknowledge that update(s) should never fall below functionality of a prior update version. If the issue results in many experiencing decreased functionality then proper beta-testing should avert the issue from ever happening

I voted "equal", because I had some problems with both versions... I am always flying with bellyache, so I'm waiting for a improvement.
.300: lost connection in LOS at 40 and 12 meters; .400: yaw movements without operators influence (twice).
But, there were several FM updates for other models, so at law of series, the MA can be the next. But, at Murphy's law... hope dies last.

Seems so, but .400 has a longer life-time? Nevertheless, I think, we need all an update we can trust, with a massive increase of improvements... and some new functions at all.

I sincerely disappoint myself every day with DJI.
I am without confidence to use my drone and I am already tired of hearing the famous:
- "be patient";
- "Do you have a video or a photo to prove?";
- "Thank you for reporting the event (DJI must have 2 engineers working - 1 busy with launches and 1 on vacation)"

I would also vote for a  massive update, with lots of great improvements, and just to say sorry for the problems of 0.400, some extra nice improvements, like maybe functions to over or under expose manually, way points..........maybe manual focus, and longer flight times............

I honestly don't think it will happen even though I would be so happy to see it coming.
But thinking realistically, there is not gonna be such an update. Maybe one with
a few bug fixes.

Ahhh, don,t go breaking my heart. I am already downtrodden with the way my MA treated me since the new update...............with total disdain and instability.

I have no problems with latest firmware.

Would be nice if someone from DJI made a comment, or at least acknowledged this thread. With almost all questions around .0400, DJI is believing the saying "silence is golden" is the best way. I would disagree it is.  ;)

I think, very small minority has a problem. To the count of sold units, there is only few people who reported problems with .400 firmware. And there is no real arguments to show, that all of it is firmware issue.

Personally, I know a few people with Mavic Air, and no one reported any issue, including me.

I think that  you should not be so sure that a very small minority have a problem, as there is quite a lot of users on this forum saying the same things, and "too the count of sold units", very very few is on this forum, or on any forum for that matter......., so percentage wise, none of us know how many MA,s was returned to DJI for this problem, but not mentioned on any forum. Could be much much more than a very few minority.............
All i know is, my drone flew perfectly before the firmware update, and was a piece of junk after, with a million little problems. It speaks for itself.

No problems with the latest update (MP), it's rock solid.

When I created this poll it was to prove that the biggest complaint from the owners of Mavic Air is with regard to FW and not to hardware.

I think you only need to go to photos/videos section to disprove your theory.

Yeah. I see the guys with the Mavic Pros, have some excellent videos there, images too.
Couple of good Mavic Airs as well, but mostly Mavic Pros. Now head over to the Mavic Air section again, and go and count the complaints.

Think you will find that two thirds of the first page Mavic Air owners....... and considering probably 10 times more owners of Mavic Pro , it speaks for itself....
As for problems, not being able to connect RC to aircraft is not a FW problem, I would say more like a newbie mistake..

It's always the fun part of a firmware release, no matter for which model. Within a second or two, all perceived problems (many of them real but already existed before or have other origin) are automatically linked to the new firmware. My guess is that we shall see it each time again, justified or not, it doesn't matter for the loudspeakers...

You also can not generalize by saying that the new FW or SW does not cause problems.
If that were the case, there would be no need for constant updates - as DJI says - to solve bugs.

In my specific case (video lag transmission - link ) the fault only appeared after the update of the FW, even if testing in 2 iphones (7 Plus and 8 Plus)

Anything that speaks differently will be calling me crazy, stupid or a liar.

Ps .: I was able to minimize the problem (not solving it) by downgrading DJI GO 4 to version 4.2.12

Reading last page of posts, several posts come across as excuses.  Seen this before in IT industry.  
People who have some sort of vested interest will deny problems, while attacking anyone who dares point out there was a problem.  Sometimes because those people signed off on whatever resulted in the problems.
