I was out at the site of my new house that's being built taking some photos and video to record the progress. I decided to attempt my first pullback shot. Even though I was a little conservative with the height over the roof I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I already have some ideas to make it better next time I'm out there.
And as I side note there are two grass runway airports within 5 miles. They're very nice to deal with but they are both so surprised when I call them and inform them I'll be flying a drone nearby. I think I may be the only drone pilot to ever call them.
That works quite well. I'd have been inclined to clip the last few seconds of the video so the props didn't appear in shot, or slow the deceleration for the same result. Thanks for the share
Good point, Blériot53. I wasn't even thinking about the props showing up on decel so I just let go of the sticks when I wanted to stop. I'll be sure and trim that when I put the whole build video together.
