I recieved my P2V+V3.0 with extra battery last Friday. After using and recharging each battery 4 times, one battery (serial# 2427) has a full capacity of 4322 mAh, does that mean it's lost 17% in 4 charge cycles (see attached images).
you can do it now to see if it fixes the issue but it's not something that should be done too often outside of the DJI recommended cycles since deeper discharges cause more stress to a LiPo
pls try a full discharge and recharge cycle as Swomilan suggested. If that does not work, then pls return it back to your local dealer or contact DJI local support center (pls refer to http://www.dji.com/support). As your battery is still within the guarantee period, we would exchange a new one for you.
Ok, I did a discharge to 6%,photo below. Next time I went to fly go ta bad cell message, connected to Phantom app and it gave me an error 53 with no description but the battery is bad look at the cell voltages (attached).
Exactly the same happened to mine after the battery update , dealer swapped it for a new one , strange thing is this battery was flying well with good flight times and no bad cell message before the battery update was done.
in this case, pls update the battery and main controll version in the Phantom assistant software (update whichever is available). Try it before you send it back to dealer for exchange. Because these updates are supposed to solve this problem.
it could be possible that the battery is not an original battery from DJI. Thus it went wrong after update. Of course, we also could not rule out the possibility that the battery has error somehow. Anyway, as you have got a new one, enjoy your flights!
