Matrice 210 RTK and brand new X5S camera. Tried two different cameras-same thing.
Cannot focus manual or by tapping screen. Tried Olympus 45mm and 12mm both supported by dji. Balanced with their official balancing rings. Pilot, go 4, litchi etc. None of them focusing.
Doesn’t matter which lens attached in the app lens profile is wrong (picture attached) Also cannot enter M mode to adjust ISO, apperture etc.
Both lenses work great on inspire 1 and x5. All Fw up to date. Tried downgrading. Reinstalling apps etc.
Anyone can advise on this issue please. Thanks

  

I would try this.

-Attach to gimbal 1
-Start up and launch Dji Go4
-go into camera settings and reset camera settings
-go into SD card settings and format the SD card make sure this so done on the drone and not in your computer.  
-shutdown and start back up

Try to focus after this.

UPDATE! camera and my lenses work on inspire 2 fine. Also cendense controller from inspire 2 linked with my bird performs same! It’s a FW or craft...

Interesting, the only thing I can think off is doing the 210 firmware update with the X5s attached to the drone.

Wait, install x5s with dji supplied lense, ensure AF is selected then go into camera settings, switch on AF assist in the settings,iy may work.

And send me a picture of your firmware status and I will cross check it with mine.

Very clever! That is what I think that brakes it all when updating Fw with x5s attached together with 3d party lens... dji engineers on this case already as well as dealer trying to get to the bottom of this. My current Fw image attached. Unfortunately do not have stock lens to try.

Here are my numbers, my 210 and X5s all working fine.... For now!!

Yes, I have the Olympus 45mm and it's focusing.

Have you tried hooking your 210 up to ipad or phone and running dji go 4 from there, to rule out a software issue.

Lastly, have you tried setting a button to focus and doing that, rater than tap screen

Hi. Tried iPad and litchi app. Gonna do same with go4 this afternoon. Focus knob on cendense assigned to do manual focusing but does not respond. Slider on screen not moving.  

What would happen if you refresh your Fw with x5s and 45mm attached on craft? Have you tried that? Thanks
