Hi,
Now since the OTG connection is officially supported by the new firmware update, could someone indicate: 1) the proper cable(s) to use, 2) the power-on sequence between the RC, the phone or the tablet and the Spark.
Many thanks for this great forum.

Hi. Thank you for the inquiry. For reference, I will be posting the list of recommended mobile devices for the DJI Spark.
This seems to work (iPad mini)
Spark on
Controller on
Wait for green light on controller
iPad on - do NOT yet open Go app
Attach cable to iPad
Attach cable to controller
Acknowledge the 'not supported device' message on the iPad
Open Go
Connected!
Amazon (for example) will guide you to getting a suitable cable)
The Original DJI OTG Cables for IPhone (IOS) are these - (I Love to Use Original Cables)
There are also 2 Other Variations - With USB-C and With Micro-USB
(You can buy good aftermarket OTG Cables Brands like - Anker or UGreen)
The latest firmware seems to be most forgiving about the OTG sequence. Now, all you need to do is have it all connected first, then power on the Spark, then the Remote Control, then open up Go. At some point you will get Apple's unsupported device error message, clear that, and you are now ready to fly.
Hi, we would like to inform you that we're supporting the OTG cable with our spark now and I'm glad this OTG works on your scenario, however, we would like to clarify that this OTG cable can support android devices only. Thanks for understanding.
