I sent out my Spark on a mission today. Using Litchi waypoints I set up a flyby of a middle school under construction. The total flight was about 1 mile (1.6km) When the Spark was about 2300 ft away, the app got disconnected. I couldn't see the video feed, or map updates of where the Spark was! I had faith that the Spark would remember it's programmed route (I set the final waypoint at my RTH location) - and it did. I nervously waited... and hoped I'd see my Spark again. After about 1-2 minutes of disconnect, the signal came back to the app and I was able to see the video feed again. It came all the way home, finished it's mission and had a successful flight!
One question, to litchi and firmwares
You are on litchi beta, right?
Have you updated RC an Spark to latest?
Or does it work with second latest fw, too?
I am using the Litchi beta
I am using the latest updates for the Spark 1.00.1000 and RC 1.00.0600
I did use Litchi and got another waypoint flight before the updates came out
I am using an iPhone X with iOS 11.1.2
I'm sorry, I can't test any Android "features" as I don't have any Android devices. Since you're using the beta, is it possible to create a "simple" waypoint flight?
