When you press the Battery on/off button and hold it for 5 seconds (out of the phantom) it tells you what cond. your battery is in. How many seconds should the green indicator lights stay lit? Both of my batteries show 4 green lights but one of my batteries stays green for about 10 seconds, while the other one  goes out almost immediately?

The manual says the LED's should stay on for 10 seconds.
Assuming you are using genuine DJI batteries.

I have never checked my 3 batteries that way so I don't worry about it at all.
Every few months I might hook the Phantom up to the assistant and see what the levels are, but mostly I just charge and fly them.
10 months down the line and never had any problems with the batteries.

May I ask?  What is the battery life percentage for your batteries?  I ask, because I am down to 81% for each of my two batteries,  and I am wondering how they will respond as the life percentage drops.  It looks as though you are able to get just as much as before out  your current batt.

As I said above, I have never checked, but just for you I have just done my 3 batteries.
Holding the button down until it flashes Red, and all 3 batteries have 4 Green LED's, so that's between 90 and 100% life.
I get 18 minutes flight time shown on the app at take-off.
My batteries are the older type, but with updated firmware 2.6.0.0 so they auto-discharge after 10 days of sitting around.

Thanks for the reply.  I held all two of my batteries down for 5 seconds each, and I got all ffour lights on. But, on the firmware, they are showing 81%.
