Just perchased my first Mavic pro platinum
Unfortunatly neither my phone or I pad will run it.
Not realy into a 1000 dallar phone that ill probably break or loose.
will a Samsung S7 edge work ?
Does anyone know.
Hi there. Thanks for reaching out DJI Forum. Yes, the Samsung S7 Edge is fully compatible with the Mavic Pro Platinum. Also, Have you tried to link your RC to your AC before connecting it? For compatible devices, please see the attached image below for reference. Thank you.
Now I don't know the price on phones in Canada but if you can you should look at Samsung S 8 SAMG950GRA or in Canada G950W It will run better than S7 in future update.
You dont need Gopro4 you need Dji Go 4.
I use Samsung S 7 and the newest app but not the newest firmware on Mavic.
I don't have any trouble in video or any lag but we dont know what happen in next update on app.
it will most likely need more processor power and more ram than today.

And if somebody does not get a handle on what is burning CPU cycles, and optimized code; some of currently listed Smartdevices won't work with next generation of DJI drones, like say Mavic 2.
Oh wait! What was I not thinking. There are already Smartdevices on official list that won't work with current generation of DJI drones!

Yes and that won't get any better. after one year half of these devices will bee outdated
and the other half with massive video lag.
