I have a project to fly wetlands that are in class C airspace and while I have permission to fly under 300 feet from FAA, I'm worried I'll get to the site and the DJi softwre will lock me out. Do I need to go back into the DJi Assistant and reset to factory and then unlock the flight restriction? any help appreaciated.

Hello there. I appreciate your time bringing this query to us. I highly suggest sending an email to flysafe@dji.com and ask for a permission and instructions on how to unlock the restricted zone. It may require you some documents, it will be provided there.

the wonderful help desk has come through again for all of you who like me needed help in unlocking the geofence (with approval of course).
Jane Fang (Support) 7月30日 CST09:34 Dear Lori,  Thank you for contacting DJI.  Actually, we now provide the Advance Unlocking for the GEO system so that you can unlock the Zones by yourself.  Please first check if you are in a restricted zone on the map below.  http://www.dji.com/flysafe/geo-map     If you are authorized to fly there, and this is a yellow authorization zone, you can unlock it by yourself on our website.  http://www.dji.com/flysafe/self-unlock    If it is a red restricted zone, please submit the unlocking request using the link below, and we will unlock it on our server as soon as possible.  http://www.dji.com/flysafe/custom-unlock   But please don't forget to send the forms of authorization and identification as stated below. 1. A form of Authorization: Please send documentation of your authorization to fly in the designated area. Examples of such documentation include but are not limited to a certificate of authorization, operating license or permit from a national aviation authority, a letter of agreement with an airport, a statement of work from a facility that has hired you for the operation, etc.  To ensure this link is valid, please use Google /Firefox browser on the computer to open it.

Below is a video of how to unlock GEO zones for your reference.     Thank you for your support of DJI.  Best Regards, Jane DJI Technical Support Website: http://www.dji.com/support
