Hello everyone

I went flying at a river today. I was enjoying the flight. On the final RTH, I noticed that 2 birds were flying close to the UAV, in fact, 1 of them came very close, enough to make me skip a heartbeat. Both birds broke off their "attack run" lol. Anybody else have similar issues or was this a fluke? Thanks

Danny

It happens more often than you think.
Seagulls are the worst.

I know the feeling and it's a scary one. Usually I outrun them while ascending and descending. I think it confuses them.

Here we have Magpies and Butcher Birds. The thing with them is they don't always just "fake swoop". They can and will make contact and this worries me.

If you notice a bird or birds closing in quickly descend.  Birds typically will not be able to descend as quick as your bird can.  Have not had an issue they tend to stay away from mine

I think I'd rather climb straight up!

Mine attracts birds virtually every flight.  They hate the thing.
Often they circle and dive bomb but pull out (threatening).
Smaller ones don't bother me too much but ive had Frigate birds and Sea Eagles to it and those would definitely win in any sort of battle.
Seagulls also attack all the time and those WILL attack rather than mocks.

That is actually what I meant is to ascend.  They cannot keep up going straight up.
