I have a different problem there is now on sound and the max distance is fixed at 50 metres which is useless for flying.
So for a pair of goggles for DJI drone they are useless, they work great for FVP racing drones and that is all.
Can anyone help.?

Do you have the Go 4 app up and running before you turn on the goggles?   That should solve the problem.

As EdM suggested in post number 2, you need to switch on all, and with your RC connected to a device running DJI Go 4 (you will have signed on at home when it was first installed) wait until the aircraft says 'ready to fly'. Then unplug USB from RC and connect RC to Goggles, that should remove the imposed 30m altitude and 50m radius limitation when using the Goggles.

Edit:- With latest version of DJI Go 4 you are prompted to sign onto account now when it is run for the first time (and consequently if you chose to log out again, or update).

Hi, sorry for the inconvenience. Can you please connect your mobile device first and change the the Distance Limit?  Kindly refer to the attachment below and after that, connect the goggles. Let's see if it works.

It has nothing to do with the distance limit but all to do with the change of last year that limited the distance when not being logged in to the App combined with a missing login possibility in the goggles software/app.
