I like the Ginbal being up higher and  it looks more sturdy and may have less ribbon cable problems.

Boy if it actually has a 1" sensor there are going to be a lot of P4P units hitting https://DroneTrader.com for cheap...Can't wait to see resolution and pixel size on the Hasselblad version.

Basically both DJI and Argos confirming the models and how the leak happened.  AFAIK its the first official DJI acknowledgement of any drone release.

CNET also has posted this-  DJI responded by noting that the catalog didn't mention all the features of the upcoming drones.

.. all done with gesture control, so to keep inline with the new flight regulations.

Hopefully there is a improved controller with a full size  video screen built in something similar to a crystal sky  or Go Pro Karma controller ?

Doubt that, the MA, Spark and Tello in the same add don't show RC's either.......BUT, If that were the case as you speculated “gesture control ONLY”?  MP2 won't fetch a penny from me........No RC (or RC controllable/compatible), no sale here. Just have to wait and see like the rest of us.....

Imagine how good the camera must be if you can control it with gestures from 4 miles away though!

I'm told if you have the goggles, you can control it with your mind.

I wonder if they would do an upgrade path for mavic pro owners ?

Don't give them too many idea's    ...........Seriously though, out the door pricing  for use with the mobile  (Go 4) only and charging extra for a "high end", "max range" RC is something probably not too far off.......

It sounds and looks like the list price for the Hasselblad version Mavic 2 is going to be quite steep and pricey compared to the Mavic 2 Zoom?

I'm content with my original Mavic Pro, feel like I haven't even tested its full functionality and so upgrading would be too much for me at this point.

Theres a better photo on the other forum, its 1" sensor on the Hasselbad version (and a different shape front end) of camera).
The "zoom" isnt going to be a 1 inch...its easier to get the zoom with a smaller sensor.

I wonder the fate of the Phantom line as well. Are big bodied craft going the way of the Edsel? Personally, I enjoy my Air and Pro with much less worry than I did my P3 just because they are  less cumbersome with every bit of the capability.

I prefer Mavic 2 Pro !

2" sensor would be bigger than Nikon's APS-C sensor... not likely to happen anytime soon.

Hope its not too much bigger.  I have a P4P+ but mainly use the Mav.  So easy to throw on the boat or passenger seat of the car.  A MAV, an affordable MAV, with a 1 inch 20mp sensor might do in the P4 line.   Unless the move to interchangeable lenses proves to be true as it the talk with the P5.
