I am curious to know what setting people are using when shooting video.
For 1080 what fps are you using?
Also is 4k worth using?

On a side note used my MA extensively this past week while on vacation and have to say it performed flawlessly.

I was using 1080p 60fps but I got some advice to go lower 30fps.  Going to test it out today

I use 1080p 30fps and the same for 4k 30fps. Was going to try 1080p 60fps for the slow motion effect.

I capture in 1080p only for slowmo, with 120 fps. All other shots are done in 4k/30fps. My clip settings in post are 1080p, so I have the possibility to scale, optimize position, stabilize and zoom the footage in post production. That is a great advantage to get more out of your shots - for me. If you switch between 1080p and 4k, always use framerates with the same factor, 30-60-120 or 25-50 or 24-48. Otherwise you can get problems in post. It is much easier to combine similar framerates. As you see above, with 30-60-120 you have more possibilities. And yes, movies are filmed in 24, and in Europe we have 25 for TV, but all new monitors are able to handle 30, and you are more versatile with it. Only my opinion.

Always 4k when filming, I then edit the unscaled 4k footage in 1080p to composite.

Allows for keeping the actor(s)/objects in the frame, as I can use motion tweening in my NLE to zoom pan & tilt around the 4k footage, to create perfect shots in 1080
