Aloha D.,
You had a good day! Nice video. It looks like a young Southern Right Whale (Eubalaena australis) and a family pod of Common Dolphins (Delphinus delphis) at the end.
Hard to tell if the dolphins are short beak or long beak though long beak tend to be closer to shore and this was an inshore video. It was a small family pod with a mom and calf, some tweeners and probably some other female adults (aunties) and moms of the tweeners. The only males would be prepubescent.
The pattern of the callosities growing on the Right Whale were vivid! Nice video! They are a good form of identification since they do not change as the whale gets older. The really clean look and general fitness of the whale shows its youth. If any organization is collecting photo and video ID on these whales, you might want to get in touch with them.
BTW, taking a .jpg (and possibly video) of whales is helpful because there is a time stamp and GPS in the coding of the .jpg (I do not know about the video). This helps researchers identify and track whales and dolphins; and other researchers can track and identify other animals with this information.
Mahalo for the share!
