Hi guys. I have a 12 months old MP Battery. Yesterday when i charged the battery i noticed that it took an unusual loong time to charge and when i went to fly I got a "Battery error" warning while on the ground.
In the app i saw that it said it was a fsulty battery cell. Checked the voltage and one of the cells was about .15 lower then the other two wich was almost identical.
I did a discharge and full charge and the cells still seemd around .15 of.
Did a full discharge and charge and now the cells seem to differ around .05.

When the warning first appeared i only had 9 charges on the battery.
Can I trust the battery or do i have to buy a new one. I know its out of warranty but it only had 9 charges. Shouldn't the battery manage more?

No warranty anymore. You can use rc charger to charge and balance the battery cells for you

Full charge that battery and leave it 10 days to be discharged by it self then charge it again and take off to check the cells.

If the differerance is more than 0.1 take care and don't use it for long distance at least.

If you get battery error again never use it.

If my memory serves me correct the self discharge only brings it down to about 50% or something like that. Will that be enough or should I discharge it to a lower percentage?

Plug the battery into your drone, power on the battery and leave it until the drone shuts itself off. Will drain the battery down to one LED. You can then charge it to see if the cells balance. If they don't, I wouldn't fly with it (at all).
