It seems that there is lots of "chatter" about drone flying these days in the USA (and other countries).  I follow this guy who is a US atorney and the link below is one of his most recent posts about the FAA in the USA and the increasing number of drone sightings.

As recreational and business drone flyers we need to be responsponsible pilots.  But we also need to give feedback to our state and local governments about fair and resonable regulations.  With the recent events like the one in Venezula lawmakers here in the US may start trying to OVER regulate drone flying.

Let's all try to be part of a solution by flying responsibly and not give lawmakers more reasons than necessary to create regulations.  Also if you hear of any pending legislation in your state you need to provide as much positive input as possible to your lawmakers.

This guy is worth following.  He has some free materials to help you train to get your drone (unmanned aircraft) license ... essentially the ground school part of a private pilots license.

With all of the things going on about drones someday we may all need to get a license to prove we are reliable pilots.
