Hi. I was just wondering how you guys take care of your battery's. During a flight i only allow them to deplete to around 30%. I was wondering is it better for battery health to occasionally deplete almost completely? Does anyone practice this?. I have read the manual and was wondering over note 3 on battery maintenance in the battey manual. It does say fully discharge at least once every 3 months. I just read a lot of horror stories to the contrary.

I've heard the same. I have done this once or twice. But only done to 8% no lower.
My batteries still get 15 mins and are over 2yrs old.

There is no benefit to attempting to drain your batteries completely and/or not allowing them to be depleted past a certain point. The way you care for batteries when they are not in use is what matters the most. If you follow these tips, your batteries should last a long time.
