Nice work. The Iowa isn't on the DJI approved list of lenses but obviously works well.  Are there any restrictions when it operates with the X5s? Do they communicate with each other OK?

There's no communication between the 2. The lens does not have contacts or any means to let the X5S know what's going on. (100% Manual lens) I setup infinite focus and the aperture  prior to flight and it's good to go. You'll get a display popup saying a lens is not recognized but it doesn't affect much.

Thanks. With that wide a lens I guess it's not too much of an issue. Not cheap though!

That's true, but neither are the Olympus series...
