Hi,

Today I had a flight near in Lisbon, Portugal. The weather was very sunny, with a little bit windy, but nothing the P4 couldn't handle. I've flew before with more wind. It was 14 p.m.
I flew for around 2 minutes without any issues. After the signal was lost and I watched the P4 fall from the sky, a few meters from me. Crashed into some rocks and now it's totaly damage. Can't fly with it anymore...
It is bad enough to lose the bird, but I have no idea what went wrong.

Battery was fully charged, weather fine, in line of sight at 30m alt. All looked fine to me.
Everything was charged the night before, battery, spares and transmitter. I checked everything, including the wind speed in the morning.

Signal was lost at 30m height.

I have syncronized my flight data log.

Please, I need some help or advice.

Thank you in advanced,
EB

You need to contact DJI support.

If you have synchronised your flight logs, why does it say that you only have a P3 under your Avatar?

How old is the P4?  Is it under warrantee?

You could also upload the log to http://www.phantomhelp.com/LogViewer/upload/  - follow the instructions on that page and give us a link, somebody might work out what went wrong.

Hi,

Thank you for your replies!

I had a P3 but now I have a P4.

If it was a propeller I should have the crash images because I was recording that time. And I only have it until the power loss.

I will try to upload it trough that link. The only thing I could do was synchronise it in Dji android app.

Don't know how to do it...

Hi,

Thank you for your replies!

Go to the link in post #2.
You will find full instructions there.
Come back and post a link to the report it gives you.

Changes to your miles and drones take a little while to be updated in your forum details.

Another "no obvious reason".  Seems like there is a trend of these lately.  Still under warranty?

Hi again,

Here it is. Can someone help?

You started with a full battery and at 1:53.1 when the recorded flight data ends, the battery was still looking very healthy.
The Phantom was 97 feet up and you were gently rotating it using the rudder.
Right to the end of the data, the Phantom was stable with no sign of it falling or wobbling in the air.
The cause is a sudden power loss but what caused the sudden power loss cannot be determined from the flight data.

This looks like a good case to send to DJI to see if they can find anything more on the internal flight recorder.

You said you have synchronised data.
The next step is to go to DJI's online support and start a chat with their people to get DJI to look into the incident.

You should not have a problem getting a new drone, for the trouble....

That does Not mean DJI sending you a Refurbished unit... but brand spanking new...

Seen the same before, DJI cannot ascertain a reason why it happened so they said its not DJI's fault.....

Could this have had anything to do with it?

No
As was mentioned in post #11, the battery was healthy with cell voltages around 4 volts per cell.
A difference of 0.1V between cells is within the normal range.
If the cell voltages were down around 3.3V or lower, the battery would be suspect.

Ah okay, just thought I'd ask and see what that was about on the flight data.
