Hello all.

Has anyone noticed that in the new (July, 2018) version of the Go 4 app - vs 4.2.22 , in the Photos settings, Video, Size, there is no longer a choice between 24 fps and 29.xx fps in all possible video size settings ;  but now, instead, this has been changed to a choice between 24fps and 25 fps?  Is this a "misprint" in the App version itself, or has the actual frames per second digital algorithm been changed to render 25 frames pre second rather than (close to) 29 fps?  I first noticed this when I was aboug to shoot in  (4K ) 3840 X 2160  at the usual 29.xx  fps, , but when checking I found that all the Video Sizes had been changed from 29 fps to 25 fps.  This is important, of course, if one is going to follow the informal "golden rule" that shuuter speed should be twice the frames per second.  I usually shoot at 1/60 sec at 29 fps  (close to 30 fps)  but now what should I do? Either I can continue to shoot at 1/60th and 25 fps  ignoring this change, if the "25" in the App reflects only a labelling change, but if it has truly been changed to be actually 25 fps then do we shoot with 1/50th instead of 1/60 shuuter speed when using this setting?

Does anyone know anything about this?

Many thanks.

Check that your camera settings are set to NTSC instead of PAL, then you should see a difference.
