It's from my country Slovenia. Stands over the river Soča near the Solkan town. It's pretty impressive. Build before the 1st WW by the Austrians.
Best regards Andy.

I think your information may be a little out of date, in 2001 China built the Danhe Bridge with a main arch span of 146 meter:

Well, I don't think that this is a stone bridge. It is of enforced concrete.
I am talking about pure stones! No compass problems if you put a drone from it - haha!
The stone arch is 85 m long.

No concrete, except maybe for the road surface, it is a proper stone arch: "The stones were used for the main arch ring in layers 36cm to 60cm deep. The total number of stone blocks amounted to 34,409 for the arch ring. The main rib supports 14 spandrel spans with a wall to wall distance of 31 feet (9.4 meters). The massive span was constructed upon a huge steel scaffold-like centring"

OK. I didn't know. But it was the longest arch until 2001.
Although it is interesting why should anybody build the bridge of stones nowadays with all that technology available.

A stone bridge will last 2000 years, it is held together by gravity and gravity never fails.

A concrete bridge is normally held together by steel cables, eventually the steel or concrete fail, they are designed to last 100 years, maybe 200, but if they are Italian they can fall down sooner!

The stone bridge is better, but takes a lot more people and effort to build.  China built a lot of big ones when their manpower was cheap around the year 2000, but now they no longer have cheap manpower they have had to give up and build concrete ones.

My son-in-law is a brick mason and he was blown away by this picture.  He said not only did it take talent but lots, and lots of time and effort.  Thanks for sharing.
