It’s certainly been hyped up, very much reminds me of first Mavic Pro event, the interest seems to be huge, hopefully they will have some nice surprises up their sleeve, I think I’m ready to push the big blue button.

Looking forward to the release.  I predict these new drones will have their own app........perhaps a Go 5 app.  I believe this because the Go 4 app is getting way too big.

It may well be true, dji go 4 was released two years ago , it may be getting over loaded, I’m not qualified to answer that, I have never had any problems with it, but I’m sure it might help if a new app has been developed, but new apps can also have their own problems. We shall wait and see.

Ahh I believe it will have to be really good for people to be impressed, but dji hasn’t failed yet to impress the drone world with both innovation and great technology, but we shall see on 23rd.

DJI does do a great promoting of a product.

It will be interesting to  see what it actually is instead of going by all the rumors.  But regardless it’ll be several months before I purchase one. I’ll let everybody else be the guinea pig until they work out all the bugs before I even consider it. Until then I will keep flying  my inspire

Now, if DJI did a Head Fake with canceling of original announcement and planted some Fake leaks - then comes out with a drone that is closer to Inspire in performance than it is to Mavic Pro, and drone has camera that is closer to current Prosumer Video cameras or perhaps takes 3D images...

Then yes be Impressed.

considering most will look at this craft costing half the price of an inspire 2 and that’s I2 without camera , so how would this happen , a Mavic Pro that has the performance of an I2 , and pigs will fly , the sky will fall, I don’t think this is what dji are after.

It would have to have been a very expensive fake if that were the case. Every printed catalogue (many thousands) in every store of a major UK retailer carried the images of the new Mavics.
Seven days from now we'll all be a bit wiser.

I thought of costs, but with Marketing and Sales budget backed by a company valued in Billion$, inserting one fake page in catalogue would be old drop in bucket.   

Issue would be getting the business to go along with it.  Take real price incentives, and guarantee fake page would not come back on business.

Like you say, we will all soon see.

The problem with the leaked add is the lack of information. Some of the DJI releases have been mediocre, others have been big steps forward. Genuine 'Wow' factor as MS used to use as a measure :-)
