Hi,

Just got my Ronin-S this morning, put it all together and it balanced fine. However, when following the power-on instructions, the grip is completely unresponsive, the button does nothing and there is no battery light indications. I plugged it in via the supplied USB-C hoping it would charge, I was was able to auto-tune and use the Ronin-S via the app, however the battery indicator just says 0% and is not charging.


Any solutions? Was I shipped a dead battery grip? I'd assume for QC the grips would be well tested prior to being shipped out.

Hi robtek, sorry for the unpleasant experience with the brand new battery, any chance to try another charger or cable for a test? If the issue persists, it is recommended to send in the device for evaluation, please post the case number here if the Ronin-S is sent in, we will keep following up, thank you.

Did you try turning on the grip the way you would power up a DJI drone battery?
