Nothing special, just a fun video. Earlier this year quite a big branch had broken off a cherry tree in the neighbourhood. When I recently met the farmer while he was making hay I asked him if I may take the wood for our fireplace. He actually was happy that someone would take care. So the other day I went to collect the wood. Since the branch had two big arms I cut it into two pieces on the spot and then towed them with my ATV closer to our house for further processing. It was great fun and my Mavic Air performed perfectly in Active Track. RC and Crystalsky were fixed on my ATV in front of me. And here we go:

Thank you, but I am not living far away. It's just across the road behind the big tree that you see at the end of the video.

Interesting use of active track. Good to see that it can hold a lock for that long.

I'm chuckling thinking how many times you dragged that thing round the field getting all the angles right. ATV? Drone? It wasn't about about saving a few euros on firewood!!

Thank you very much indeed! :-) It was much easier than you seem to think. It were two branches and I had just two rides that I captured from beginning to end with Active Track but from two different angles. Then I have cut the footage of both rides into five second clips and mixed them along the way I had driven. No shot was repeated. It was Mavic Air that flew perfectly by itself and I only had to do the editing.

I was impressed with the editing and how you used Active Track to capture all angles.
Of course just throwing the limb over the fence line by the tree would of been the quickest way to get it home. But not as fun as making the trip with the ATV.

I had planned this video and was looking forward to it. Since it has worked so well you can expect more ATV footage in the future with quite a bit more action... ;-)

I ended up with Cyberlink Power Director since quite a number of years now, but there are many good ones out there. If you are searching for one, I would recommend testing yourself. Even the ones you have to pay for normally offer free test versions. From my experience there is not "the one and only" in editing software, but hopefully you will find the one you feel comfortable with.

as a matter of fact I just started using active track and it's sensational! will have to go for a quad ride,  great video thanks for sharing,  and it's amazing what a quad can do, when working on the farm I always used it for bush work.
