Can I use the same FAA number I have registered for my fix wing model airplanes on my drone or do I need another number for my drone?

You can use the same FAA number as long as you registered under Section 336 and are only flying as a hobbyist.

Here is the LINK to the FAA FAQ. Question # 25 says you can have one number and put it on several drones.

From Big Brother:

''Q4. Will an operator be required to have proof of registration while operating the UAS?''
''A. Yes. You will be required to have your FAA registration certificate in your possession when operating your unmanned aircraft.''

Might be worth storing a PDF copy of your FAA registration certiticate on SmartDevice you use for flying, and your SmartPhone.  

Along with keeping a laminated copy in your drone carry bag or box.

You would be the perfect person to get the 107 cert. You have the attitude of a Saint. You're not macho or any of the other hazardous attitudes lol You're in the country USA to go out and peddle some business of farmers properties. You have that go to smile white teeth the whole bit. So go get that 107 cert!
