I just got an inspire 2 went to use it and the battery came back with a broken cell. Only 6 cycles on the battery. I bought it used so I’m guessing dji wont cover it. Anyone else know if dji will replace a tb50 with only 6 cycles on it or are they pretty hardcore about the original owner only getting the warranty?

Depends on the age of the battery, DJI covers for 6 months.

Regarding with your concern, if you want to have the warranty as long as the battery still within the warranty and you can ask the first owner any proof of purchase you can process it to the facility and send it in. However, I have some suggestion that you can give a try. Try to discharge the battery until 5% then charge it until fully then give a try and check if the issue still persists.
