Good evening all,

Just to let you know that I'll be flying my DJI Spark less frequently now as we approach my favourite time of year...Winter!
I love the dark, cold, longer nights and shorter days; whilst you might think me crazy (my wife would agree), I'm an amateur astronomer and my focus is now on gearing up and getting prepared for the coming stargazing season...apologies for the quality of the photo, it's from an iPad, and I had to boost the lighting; but the scope closest to the front of this picture is my newest aquisition and costs about the same as a pro drone..
So fly safe, have fun and I'll see you maybe in the Spring.

Hi, thanks for reaching DJI Forum. We do appreciate you take time sharing your thoughts along with your photo. I understand that the winter season is fast approaching, my friendly suggestion is to store the battery in a place with an appropriate temperature. Keep it away from water and moisture.
The Spark intelligent battery chip will update the battery's capacity anytime. But it is recommended to charge the battery fully once every three months to maintain the battery's activity. Have a great winter season and thank you for choosing DJI. Thank you.

You could fly your spark out in to space and take some cool shots for us.     Just watch out Sparky doesn't get too cold up there.

Hmm. Astronomy would be hard with the spark as the gimbal doesn't point up.

True, but I have photographed Venus and the bright moon one Summer evening.
There are notilucent clouds too, but they are washed out; it's not what Sparky was built for ;-) But I had fun...although night flying is another level up[ of terrifying!

Have fun with your other hobby and share pictures from time to time, watch out for aliens….I have heard that they have been flying in space craft that looks much like a Spark Drone.

Thank you. This from an outreach event on Friday. We save the moonless nights for serious observing in relative peace and quiet.
