Why not enable a RTH or control signal loss beep? Something that sounds in either "state". Just some sort of 5 second ping. The copter power arm is very audible at start-up.  Seems like a no-brainer to me. Come on DJI. That might help locate some of these user error flyaways some folks are having. Whatcha think Tahoe_Ed?

No. Actually on the phantom itself.  So it could be found easier in tall grass

Good deal! I've started thinking of a way to do this with a piezo beeper of some sort but would really only want it to work with control loss or rth. That seemed like it should be easy to implement through the dji startup speaker. Even if it were just 1 beep every five seconds. That would give me a piece of mind to hear that in the sky when and if I needed rth and could not see the bird coming on the screen or heaven forbid, in the sky.
