Hi

I just received my DJI OSMO Mobile2 and have setup as per instructions. Installed the app and activated it. When I try to take a video, the app crashes and the red recording light is still on. I am using an Iphone 8 OS version 11.4.1. I did not even see any prompt to update firmware. Tried to use Assist and it did not even recognise my OSMO. Please help?

Additional note: I cannot take videos in 4K only lower resolutions (1080) and I can take Pictures. It crashes in 4K

Hi. Yes, it is compatible with Osmo Mobile 2. Did you try to reinstall the app?

Yes, I reinstalled the app and it still crashed when I record in 4K. I tried an iPhone 6SE and can record in 4K. don't understand why DJI GO app cannot. I tried Filmic Pro and can record 4K on my iPhone 8

Wow at least I am not the only one and seems to be an issue with the app and the Iphone 8

I can confirm that shooting 4K 30fps works just fine on my iPhone 8, with the current DJI app and firmware.

What version of Apple iOS is installed on your iPhone 8?

Hi, it happens to me the same, its really anoying, I must reboot the phone and works again. Also, sometimes I lose frames when recording, video its not smooth. And the last problem: Always I must touch the screen to focus? Its nos possible to focus automatically?

I thought by resetting the camera it would work. But it work for a while but the next video I wanted to take crashed the app. Annoying

Any updates? There are functions that I would like to use in DJI Go app but it if can only record in 1080 that its a waste

I have the same issue. It worked on previous OS version, without any issue. After OS upgrade it seem to have problem. I use Iphone 8 as well. the app keeps crashing when I press record. I have used it in April and May, it was workign prefetly fine.

Hi, to everybody! I have the same problem!

iPhone 8 12.1.3 + Osmo Mobile 2 = DJI Go v3.1.52 (2966) crashes and doesn't save a video.

App reinstalled, iPhone full  reset is done. Doesn't help, doesn't work...  

My iOS is 12.1.4, the osmo has the latest firmware and every time when I try to record a video or time lapse the app crashes

Was there ever any fix for this?

I have same problems with crashes app during video recording.
I try use another app - Litchi for Osmo. Work good

All same like DJI GO. During record video - all OK.
Maybe some less settings (I’ m Only began use osmo and continue learning), but I haven’t another way
