Newbie question here from a guy who still gets pitch yaw and roll confused LOL.... Besides a huge difference in price what is the difference between the DJI goggles and the DJI goggles Racing Edition? All I can seem to find online is a very technically written mumble-jumble explanation on the racing Edition version. Does the Racing Edition version allow your drone to fly faster for racing?

While you will not be able to fly faster with them, you can use them with other non-DJI racing drones.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. Regarding your question DJI Goggles RE include an ocusync module and camera. Meaning of that, you can use the camera to a Non-DJI Aircraft or any DIY Drone as well. Just like the previous post said.

REs' are using two different frequencies (one as  analog for racing drones, which has least lag times) and one digital for the clear HD smoothness. They were designed for the Mavic Pro to be wireless, other DJI drones can be used by connecting with a cable.

The REs' are also used with the newest Occusync bird the Phantom 4 Pro + wirelessly and using the two frequencies to seek out the least noisy channel while in flight.

They are both identical in the video quality they produce.
