Disclosure notes: I work for Hasselblad/DJI, I was involved with the development of the Mavic 2 Pro, and this report was made on the basis of my experience with prototypes at various stages of development. Small image thumbnails are clickable for larger versions, and there are full sized samples where noted.

The Mavic Pro 2 can now detect glass and won’t crash into it like the previous Mavic. This is in addition to radar, and landing lights for night flights (both so the cameras work, and so you can recover the aircraft more easily; and you will want to fly at night once you see what the 1″ camera can do.

Interesting.  Its the same guy thats on the photo copyright of the sample M2 images to download on the official site.

Sure would be nice to get insight on what camera/gimble issues caused the launch delays, and what was done to correct the issue.

There's nothing saying there WERE camera/gimbal issues delaying the launch.
That was a rumour started by the OssitaLV guy who 3 days later changed his mind to "production issues".

During the announcement, they said the delay was due to them making sure more units where ready to ship out thay same day to lower the emount of people that wouldnhave to wait.

That was not the comments insiders spread at the time. Of course no Mfr wants to admit to possible defects and rework, hence the question.

Three things stand out about Mavc Pro 2 with Hasselblad camera.
It's images do not suffer from constant Soft-focus, like Mavic Pro.
It's images have decent detail even magnified.  Not enough to satisfy Pixel Peepers, but still very good.
The night image is very good.  Likely good enough even for peeping Toms...
