I'm just wondering if DJI are despatching orders in the order they were placed.

I ordered my Mavic 2 Pro with the Fly More kit at 14:30 (UTC) on the 23rd so very quickly after it was available to order, payment was authorised/made very quickly but it has not yet shipped.

I see people who have ordered much later have already had their drones shipped.

Is this because they are shipping in no particular order or is the Fly more kit holding up orders?  if that was the case I would have ordered everything seperatly.

I suspect its FlyMore holding it up - there seem to be a lot more "drone only" orders going out.  My MP2 with FlyMore has been sitting on "Payment Authorised" for 48 hours and hasn;t moved since.

One slight issue, it says "Payment Confirmation".

Looking on my account it says

"Payment Successful" but below that "Payment Status:        Authorized"

Paypal shows the money as "Pending".

What exactly does that mean?  A problem with payment or DJI just preauthorising and not shipping yet ?

It's been 2.5 days now since my order changed to that and it hasnt changed at all in that time.

Well I have to say the shipping is terrible.

The Drone shipped early hours of Tuesday but I was surprised to see that it is coming directly from China.

The DHL Tracking number given was last updated on the 28th and showed it still in China. I phoned DHL yesterday who were unable to advise the status and created an enquiry.  They later phoned back to advise that DJI had shipped it BULK by  together with hundreds of other drones to the UK and needed to be split when it arrived in the UK. They advised that would be done yesterday and shipped for today but it would be under a different reference which would be given out later.

It did not arrive this morning so I phoned DHL who advised that the goods had cleared customs but they were unable to advise delivery details as they did not know the reference numbers therefore it may still be delivered today but they didn't know where it was.

It didn't arrive so I phoned DHL again, this time they said the BULK shipment from DJI is held in customs and waiting more information from the shipper (DJI) before it could be cleared. They had no idea when that would be but basis DHL don't work on a weekend it would probably be sometime next week....

What sort of shipping is this?  delivery was quoted as 3-5 days after payment, payment was taken on the 23rd so it's going to be at least 12 days even if it arrived on Tuesday.

And to add insult to injury the Care Refresh I ordered at the same was automatically started by DJI from the 30th, before I even have the drone!!!

So basically you pay £1600 for something and no one can tell you where it is or when you'll get it.

I bet your package is bigger than the others and does not contain only the drone. Perhaps this is the reason for all this delay.

Just to confirm, I am having the same issues (ordered around 7:30 on 23 Aug), based in Surrey UK and DHL tracking history;
1. Picked Up 30 Aug.
2. Processed at Shenzhen 30 Aug.
3. Processed at Shenzhen 31 Aug.
4. Departed Facility at Shenzhen 31 Aug 17:54.

Have just got off the phone with DHL (15:15 3rd Aug) and they have raised an enquiry on the shipment and will be calling me back.

DJI - If I may offer some feedback. Please update your estimated shipping times from 3-5 days for UK customers as i feel it may lead to further frustrations from new and existing customers alike.

I see this over promising and under delivering is still going on by DJI.

Then nothing!

So, it's now 8 days from order and I've not heard anything.  Why are you still quoting 3-5 days delivery.  Just manage peoples expectations and then they have the choice of ordering or not.  I would have gone to someone with UK stock if I had known this was how it was.

This is the first time i bought from DJI Online and will be the last time as well, Jessops has them instock, if it does not come by today i will cancel it, and buy it from jessop instore. DJI should be more honest about delivery times.

Placed my order for the pro2 on the 11th, I was really looking forward to taking it along with me on a 3 week journey across Asia, unfortunately I've given up all hope now as I fly out Monday morning. Gutted really as it looks like I have to cancel, No point in keeping a drone when you live in London. First and last time DJI
