True, but I'm hoping DJI looks into my case and understands. they gave me a 30% off on the drone, plus 10% off for student, and another $20 off from credits and stuff. that is still about $200 CAD.

I guess that is between you and DJI then. All the best with it

I've lived in and around the GTA for the better part of my life, however, I moved north 11  years ago.  I remember going to the Ontario Science Center as a school kid...  many moons ago.  So far, I have not flown in the city.  I pick country or remote from people locations.

After this flyaway mess, If I buy another one, I should probably stop flying in the city. But, I can never get out of it, with School and homework, plus, I really want to fly it. Thanks though, did you know the whole city of Toronto is a no fly zone.

Yes, I observe the rules, so not going to test them there.

Yes it is, but I spent a lot of money on the spark in the first place thinking it it will be a one time spending spree. I'm thinking of taking it but I don't know how to combine the Student discount and the one given by DJI. thanks

In rural areas, away from people, vehicles.  I did do a couple of flights in the town of Oakville, I picked two locations away from the public, away from vehicles, away from homes.  I am more interested in the natural beauty of the world than the urban sprawl of cities...

I too am interested in natural beauty but I can't seem to get out of the city.
