Hi all.
I got a prompt to update the precise fly safe database but the update is stuck always at 0% and then update failed.
I’m on iOS. iPad air2. Latest app, latest iOS.
Any thoughts anyone?

You could try installing that update from the DJI Assistant 2 application.

Never update the fly database ...It will create all the flyaways !!

if yee all can explain the sightings of UFOs in the sky told by many people around the world , i'll provide an answer to what i told regarding update of fly database !!  )

Alex, sale thing happened to me, all I needed was to insert the micro sd card where the update was already installed. I hope this helps!

Thanks, but I think I will pass on update the safe fly database, it’s not important anyway.

I kept getting prompted to update my fly safe db and when I did it failed and it said I needed to be connected to a wifi network. it updated when I tried again away from my wireless it used my cellular connection. This what I think happened::
1. I only get prompted to update the flysafe db when I am connected to the spark / rc / mobile phone
2. so the wireless to my internet on my phone is blocked by the DJI wireless connection
3. for some reason the update can not negotiate and find the cellular connection unless I have something on my phone set to use wireless only when downloading data if wireless is available.
4. so when I am out away from my home wireless, then when I click update it uses my cellular connection. ...and the update installed.

I have the Phantom 4 Pro + V 2.0  It shows was showing an error message with flight distance restrictions. It also would not allow any control change like clicking on any flight mode.
I was told this was because I kept pressing ignore instead of updating precise fly safe database. I have tried updating after the about page, no luck it just keeps trying but never says latest update. Now the darn thing will not take the latest  firmware update after 7 or 8 attempts.
Is there a factory default setting on this thing?
Do I have to send it in to DJI?
