Ok I bummed. Took my new Mavic pro 2 out after all the up dates to fly out side my house, Went from 22 satellites to 0  Gimbal roll reached movement limit. Navigation system redundancy switch.  Switched to backup IMU. all the waring boxed that popped up just before it fell out of the sky , hits the road and totaled. battery was still on.  I have been flying for four years phanton 3 pro  , had a spark then a mavic air and just got this one.  WTF. any help would be great.

Sorry about your crash. I would like to follow this thread since its the first down M2P I hear of, but according to some other members here it has happened twice before. I would like to know if this is a thing with the new Mavic platform before I make the decision to buy.

you can copy and paste the actual web address so they can see the entire log. I am new to the flight logs but the users here can analyse them pretty well.

Following for curiosity.  Once in a while I see the "Redundancy switch" on my MA then it goes away, the first time that showed up I almost $#it a brick! and i'm a novice with the DJI drones.

I had googled both of those errors and the Gimbals error was corrected with a RC calibration and the  GPS error appeared to be in those cased 2017 a false positive. That is unlike your situation. I hope you get it straightened out and will be following this thread.

I got an excessive attitude angle detected error last night (due to winds I presume) and grounded it as soon as I could.

It seems that if this could have had a duel compass the M2 would have been okay. The OP took off with just under half battery  but it should not have caused the errors seen on the log. Op, open a case with Dji support this is something they need to look into seriously.

Hence me being undecided at this moment to grab a MP2

Unless there is something we are not seeing this one looks like a failure and DJI will sort this one out.
Remember this is no different from any thing else it will have a failure rate as electronics does plus forums are always full of bad news

As others have said, it’s only a very small percentage that’s affected.
So I think you are ok
Because for your mavic 2 to fall, it’s like you won in a lottery
It’s very small percentage.

Looking at your log, redundancy kicked in a couple of times, and you would expect this to happen if something is askew, but apart from that , to me this looks like an aircraft malfunction.
Sync your flight, Contact support and arrange to return , IMO I believe you should receive a new Drone.

Sorry to hear that this has happened to you. Really wish I had read this before flying my M2P over the Thames Estuary today. Bloody hell, imagine if mine did that today. Not snowballs chance in hell of getting it back

I would just Fly alongside the River not over it you can still get some great video.

You might post this on MavicPilots.com as well.  They will ask for the data files (as well as the one you created from Phantomhelp).  Those are the files that DJI will use to analyze the various flight control functions during your flight.

I don't think these any doubt here - it looks like a clear cut case of hardware failure and crash so DJI should replace it immediately.
90%+ of crashes people post are use error but this one to me appears to be completely indicative of a hardware failure.

I higly doubt they have sold half a million units already, but even then, its not the amount of crashes but the short period of time in which they're happening. Similar thing happened to the GoPro Karma when it launched 2 years ago and they had to recall it. Im not saying this is the same but we'll have to see.
