Thought I would try and capture some lightning tonight.
Not the best, but I did get a few shots captured from the video.

Downside - misquitos were out in force.  I probably got 2 dozen bites on my arms to my fingers.

about 150' altitude.  I think the storm was 10-20miles to my south.

Did you use auto or manual exposure?  If manual, what did you use?  Thanks

I wanted to use Manual, but them dang mosquitos were terrible and I was too busy moving around slapping them!

But this is something I will have to try.  Not sure you can change settings WHILE shooting a video...

I checked tonight and while recording you can adjust the manual exposure settings...shutter speed anyway.

Thanks for the info!  I will have to give this a try.
Seems like we are in the path of all the rain and storms lately.  May have another chance to try this again real soon.  Of course if I do I'm lathering up in bug repellent first! HA!

Wow... nicely done.  Mosquitos here are also making flight/video efforts awful.  Looking forward to first freeze.
