Sooooooo, there I was, just hiked to the top of a nice little rock (using my brand spanking new Microraptors Back Pack - more on that in a sec....) and got the Bird all set up and ready to go.........

And then I realize......

I forgot the lightening cable for the iPad DOH!!!

So, I dedicate this thread to those stories of woe and misery, when you were ALL SET TO FLY....... and then not!

Sorry for the dual pic posted. Still getting used to the forum and its mysterious ways. So the backpack works great IMHO. Once it's adjusted properly, even on a large framed man like myself, the I1 sits comfortably and securely on your back. I was worried it would be be top heavy and unbalanced but it wasn't the case. No pun intended. I dig the extra pockets and look forward to trekking the bird into new areas!

Once i forgot the memorycard when i was about to take som fantastic footage after a nice walk thru the woods =)
Next time i dont forget.
Now i always have a extra card stuck next to the inspire so that one never happens again..
And the prop locks is always in the box too using a velcro stap around the carbon arm.
Same with my lightning cable,, never take it of the remote =)

I have a hard enough time keeping track of my car keys and wallet.  Looks like I better learn from your experience and print a packing list and keep in my both of my Inspire cases.  Spent an hour looking for my wallet today, yep in the other car right were I had it last, duh!

Aw man! That would have killed me - I keep two spare memory cards in my camera case just to be sure I've got some way of recording!

Seems pretty sturdy to me, I know I'm going to get a lot of use out of mine!

Not sure if this qualifies, but I had to send my bird in for repairs 2 months ago. It just came back this afternoon, now I can't find the micro SD card... I know I put it in a safe place so I could find it...

You can go back into your post and edit the extra photo out. Just edit and click on the photo then hit delete.

Good job my friend... I did the same thing and wanted to pass long what I learned.
