When I utilize the switch on the remote of the Mavic 2 Pro for sport or tripod, I get an message saying "Not allowed to change Aircraft Mode. If needed, inable it in Main Controller Settings".  "Main Controller Setting" are where and why will switch not work?  

I have been flying drones for 2 yrs, have owned; Syma toy drone (with camera), Phantom 3 Standard (8 months and 6-9 batteries most weekends)and currently own Mavic Pro Platinum (owned 1 yr, fly about every weekend for 3 - 6 batteries), Mavic 2 Pro (5 batteries of flight).  So, NO EXPERT but I try to be a responsible flyer and am familiar with DJI products.  ANY HELP?

Dont have my M2P handy right now to give you an exact answer, but you hzve to go into GO4 and so to speak give it permission to change mode.

Have you switched on Intelligent Flight Modes in DJI GO 4? It looks a bit like you didn't yet.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. Regarding that make sure the beginner mode is turned off and Multiple flight modes is being turned on, on the Main controller setting.

Glad that I was able to help although my M2P is still stuck in customs ;-)

Thank you. Had the same problem and was going crazy. The message "Not allowed to change Aircraft Mode. If needed, unable it in Main Controller Settings" the DJI implemented is really stupid and should point exactly what to change in the app to get this working right.

Multiple flight mode toggle on. Under the drone icon. Just above beginner mode ;-). Had this issue this week and had to be very smooth in p mode without access to tripod mode lol. Good practice i guess
