Hi,

I am trying do the No-Fly Zone Database Update via DJI assistant 2 (V 1.2.4) on my mavic air. It starts downloading but as soon as it starts transmitting the app closes automatically. I am using a windows laptop. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

DJI will probably tell you to reinstall the app, so I'd start with that first.

I have the same problem, that I can’t update the precise fly safe database.
But there are people on the forum saying that’s its not important at all and you should just skip this update + it makes it worse for the drone people are saying.
Dunno, I think I’ll skip for now if I can’t update anyway. The bird flies ok.

the problem with me is that my controller stopped linking with the drone. last time this happened i had to upgrade the FW and it got fixed. So I am thinking that maybe this time also it is  because i have not updated the no-fly DB update.

Done but still same issue. RC wont link to the MA.

Might try going  back one firmware and/or app version. Seems the last version is causing all sorts of varying problems. Can't hurt to try.

battery percentage should be > %50 before updating.

I checked on a number of threads and it seems we cannot roll back from this latest firmware .

I used a MAC and the update done succesfully. Thanks team.

not able to do it from Android and Windows PC. DJI Administrator, any help is appreciated.

I have the exact same problem.   Assistant 2 crashed when transmitting after downloading the database.   RC is not able to be used as the Go 4 app crashed every time when asked for an update of database.  Very frustrating.
