Hi,

Im a proud owner of a dji spark for over a month. Brought the spark with me on vacation and made some awesome shots. Then I started trying follow me mode etc and than crashed it to my our house.

After the crash it gave a compass error exit gps mode. Now when I startup and try to lift off it spins crazy fast and than crashes.

What I did:

Longgg google search.

Compas calibration

IMU calibration

Did this also on a open field

Bought New propellers

And still the same error

I user to get exit p-gps mode and compass error and IMU Error

Now I get the errors in the attachments.

Motors spins freely so i dont know what the deal is.

Hope its not a hardware deal, id rather not sent it to dji for repairs

Hope some can help so i can fly again

I think so, whenever i changed props, i made sure i changed it looking at how the older one was

Propellers positions are correct.
Sure other forum members might help with your problem.

Without RC its barely controllable

Look like a hardware problem to me. Sorry.

The flying and "crashes" also explain to me the scuff marks on the propellers and all that bumping can not be good for the Spark.

You shout try to fly outside, GPS might help. If not, send it in to DJI and they'll fix it. However, it is expensive Good luck mate.

Hi with remote its the same. Now it gives me this:

I would do a restore of current firmware with DJI assistant and computer.

Then fully and successfully calibrate imu and compass..
When calibrating be sure to be far away from concrete (contain rebar) and steel. Do not calibrate inside concrete apartment etc.
If it still misbehave, open case with DJI service.

It looks like magnetic perturbation or the compass is poorly calibrated ( or compass is defective ).

Any metal 'll create interference, when calibrating you need to stay away of any metal. I always calibrate outside, there are apps which check the metal interferences ( not perfect but at least you have an idea ).

Is it possible that one of the motors is broken? If so how can i tell?

Try it outside, but I think I'd call DJI on that one.

If that the case Unfortunately what I can only suggest is send it into the facility for further checking since you get that is after the Aircraft crashed, Please go to this link https://www.dji.com/forum then select one of the support change in order for them to help you about how to send it in.

Download the DJI assistant 2 V1.1.2 (developer version) (google your friend).
Connect Spark and calibrate the IMU with advanced calibration.
Thus:

Your Spark was damaged during crash. Contact DJI for repairs. If you have DJI Refresh, the repairs will be free.
