It's rather simple. For each NEW day you log in you get 5 points. That means after logging in for five days you can create new threads. How hard is that? And do you think a spammer is gonna bother with that? Working on Captains level just by logging in every day. My M2P is expensive to fly and my opinions aren't worth *&^(

Spam is not very useful for the forum. GJ

I think that will discourage a lot of new users from wanting to become an active and regular member of this forum.  I would think new users would have a strong interest in asking questions to the forum.

Thats pretty much what I just said.  Most people, like myself will come upon this forum when they have a problem and they want to ask questions.  They'll be more likely to join other drone forums before this one because of them being blocked for not being able to ask their questions.

When will DJI stop regulating where a pilot can or can't fly?
It's time to eliminate NFZ and let pilots be adults and fly under their own responsibility and risk.
If you are afraid of lawsuits then include a release of liability form with each drone sold.
DJI is NOT and should not act as a regulatory government agency.

The "Thread for Newbies" does not reflect the new point rule system as that thread still asserts:
"You can create new threads or reply to existing threads just 30 minutes after you create an account."

By the way, I wanted to add a link to said thread using "add link" but the forum software won't let me. Why is this? Another gotcha of the point system?

Can anyone help me please. I am trying to make a post about a lost drone, which I believe was down to a faulty drone not pilot error, but it seems I'm unable to make a new post because I am a new member to the forum. I really don't have time to build up points or whatever they are to make a new thread about said lost drone. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
