Hi other PH4 Pro Users,

Have an ipad mini2 working with the PH4 pro. Getting transmitting notices. Have reduced unnecessary items. Wondering if the ipad mini 4 would work better? Any comments?

I get some stuttering with mini 4.  I switched to the latest iPad 10.5 inch version and runs smooth on my Phantom 4prov2, and mavic pro v1 and the new zoom.  I wish I upgraded ipad sooner. Big difference in app performance.  

What kind of transmitting notices are you seeing?

iPad Mini 4 works well here with my Phantom 4 Pro V2.0.

Never had any app freeze ups or shutdowns. I've had some live feed transmission issues but that was an interference issue not a Phantom or iPad issue.

If you are looking for suggestions, for a few dollars more than the Mini 4 you can go with the latest 9.7" version.  It's the largest that will fit in stock cradle.  It also has the A10 vs. A8 processor so it should carry you thru many more upgrades on DJI Go.   I have both.   The 9.7" is dedicated to my P4P V2 and the mini 4 is dedicated to my Mavic.   Love them both.

The Mini 4 will work but, the processor and memory is to slow for the current GO 4 App.

I bought an adaptor for the controller for the remote on my P4 and I use a 12.9" ipad pro, no lag or stuttering and a nice big usable screen.

Well, I decided to buy to upgrade to I pad 9.7 celluar 2018 with a quad core and A 10 chip. Way a difference from the ipad mini2. The videos and raw image show that better. I thought I would let everyone know.

My ipad mini2 was running too slow for flight and video as mention above. The GoApp4 is running flawless. So glad I upgraded to the Apple Ipad 9.7 128g Celluar 2018. Big SMILE  

I've got the 10.5 inch Pro.. it *just* fits my P4 Pro controller, but it is pulling the sticky foam padding off the controller slowly. I've used a 9.7 and that fits well.

I see someone mentioned about using the 12 inch iPad, I'd love to see the adapter on the P4 controller, but personally I reckon that it would be too big and heavy to use for prolonged periods.
